Refreshing to see an Indian/part Indian/ Indian origin man as a hero in a love story set in a different cultural environment. I think he was testing her loyalty by not giving away his truth at the outset, letting her believe he was poor. The narcissistic ex smelled her doubts and almost convinced her, a moment she would have regretted for sure. Her mother's face had unwilling compromises written all over it. Glad she chose a different path!

@teaspoon I read the story of civilization by Will and Ariel Duran 11 books total in the series most of them over 1000 pages. It took me a year to finish reading them all. They are research books, they are amazing books to read. I don't believe that they stone cheating partners to stone to death, but in some very backward believes such as in Afghanistan may do this. I did read the Quran long time ago and no where in Quran say that you should stone to death of your cheating partner. That would be a really barbaric thing to do. In America some of our States still have the death penalty. Each country in the world have their own set of laws, and we should obey our laws and there will be no problems. What you have heard the injured partner said that is only matter of speech, we say get hit by a lightening, or in car accident, thing like that.
@teaspoon I will be going to Istanbul Turkey in spring time, and I will go to a Mosque with a translator and find out about stoning to death of a woman if she cheats on her life partner. You seem know a lot about Islam. I did read the Quran long time ago, I honestly don't remember things that you are saying. But I vaguely remember in Afghanistan a woman in a public square was killed because she was unfaithful to her partner. And I also know that Islam is 100% come from Jewish Religion. But parents arranging marriages for their kids has been a long standing tradition as it was believed that parents knew best about their kids and were better at judging people. Though this is decreasing and more parents are respecting their kids' choices, many parents still do meddle sometimes. Many don't want their kids to marry outside a certain group(particular caste, religion, etc.) and some idiots do cut off contact with their kids for marrying someone from outside that group. But it's more about pride and societal pressure here in India, unlike in Afghanistan which is about...you know....

The actor that played the fiance was a good counter point antagonist which heightened the suspense of the story. The actor that played Ajith was spot on. He and the bride truly had chemistry and together they created screen magic. The actors that played the parents also were exceptional, especially the father, who has screen presence and can carry any scene alone. I complement your choice of music and especially the choice of vocal music. That things all worked out for the story, shows the wisdom of life lessons. You should never marry a cheater. I can see this marriage lasting forever for with such an emotional beginning and the trust that was established from the very beginning, there is no way that it can fail. Your writers do their homework. Even the name of the husband was so perfect -- Ajith, "invincible", "irresistible", "unsurpassed" and "unconquered."
